Who we are
The Sayginer Foundation for Archaeology (“the Foundation”) operates sayginerfoundation.org. If you have any question about this policy, write to team@sayginerfoundation.org.
What we collect
Contact form. When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. Only the email address and message are required. We use this information solely to read and reply to your message.
Email you send us. Applications and enquiries sent to team@sayginerfoundation.org are kept in the Foundation’s mailbox for as long as they are needed to handle your request or administer the program concerned.
Technical logs. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may record standard technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, and keep them for a short period for security and reliability.
What we do not do
This site does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Service providers
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to the Foundation by Postmark, an email delivery service, which processes the message in transit and retains a copy for a limited period under its own privacy policy. The site itself is served by Vercel. We share information with these providers only to the extent needed to run the site, and with anyone else only when required by law.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing team@sayginerfoundation.org. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Children
The Foundation’s programs are intended for university students, researchers and professionals. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Links to other sites
Pages on this site link to partner institutions and other external websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
